Organized Docs WordPress Plugin

Customize the Docs Template Files

To override and customize any of the Docs template files, follow these steps:

  1. Create a folder named “organized-docs” inside your theme.
  2. Copy the file that you want to customize from the plugin’s template folder (organized-docs/includes/templates/) into your new “organized-docs” folder.
  3. Make your desired changes in your copied file. Make the necessary changes to the HTML to make it match your own theme, while leaving the important Organized Docs loop stuff intact.
  4. The filenames must remain the same as above.

Once you upload your new template files to your server, the plugin will then use your file instead of the built-in one. You don’t have to copy all of the template files into your folder. Only copy the ones that you want to customize.
