WooCommerce Show Attributes now gives you more control over where to show your custom product attributes. There are 16 new options, including the options to show the product weight and dimensions. While I’ve tried to address many feature requests, there are still many more pending. If I haven’t got to yours, thanks for your patience.
The settings have moved. The settings are now located at WooCommerce Settings –> Products tab –> “WC Show Attributes”. Visit the settings page to see the new options. Or see them here.
One important issue has been fixed:
When “Visible on the product page” was unchecked for a custom attribute, the attribute was still displayed on the Cart. This has been fixed. The “Visible on the product page” setting will now be honored. It will override all of this plugin’s settings. If the “Visible on the product page” is unchecked, that attribute will not be shown.
The .pot localization file has also been updated.

Hi Isabel,
I want to hide a custom attribute for all products. This attribute has a backend usefulness, but I don’t want it to be shown to users viewing products. Can your plugin be implemented to do this, and if so how?
Best,

Yes, you can do this. On the settings page, remove the checkmark from all of the settings except for “Show Attributes on Admin Order Details Page”. That would only make the attributes visible in the admin backend, not to customers. You can also enable the “Show Attributes on Admin New Order Email” setting if you want the attributes shown on the emails that go to the administrator. That will not show it on customer emails. Hope that helps.

Yes, but can it be done for a single custom attribute or is it all or nothing?

Oh, it’s “all or nothing.” Adding granular control over individual attributes is on the “to do” list for a future update.

Ah, thanks for clarifying on that note and thank you, also, for your hard work on this plugin nonetheless. I’ll keep an eye out for that update. 🙂

Hi, is there a way to make a default order of the global attributes? I have a specific order I want them displaying in on the Single Product page (the attributes not the terms) but can’t find a way to specify the order.

Set the order while creating or editing a global attribute at “Products” –> “Attributes”. Set the “Default sort order” to “Custom ordering.” After you save that, you have to click “Configure terms” and drag and drop the terms in the order that you want them.
