The 100 Oldest Plugins in The WordPress Plugins Directory

This is a list of the 100 oldest plugins in the WordPress Plugins Directory. These plugins were added to the repository in 2004 and 2005. Some of these plugins still have thousands of active users.

Of these 100 oldest plugins, the one with the most active installs is flickrRSS by Dave Kellam. It has over 30,000 active installs. Link Library by Yannick Lefebvre has over 20,000 active installs. Link Library is not only still going strong, but it has also recently been updated (March 2017).

Three other plugins on this list have over 10,000 active installs. These are WP-Hashcash by Elliott Back, WP Contact Form by Ryan Duff and Peter Westwood, and Get Recent Comments by Krischan Jodies.
